We are taking it up a notch: Witrafi is proud to announce new members to the board of directors and advisory board! Pictures above, below is a short introduction on each of them.

New advisors

Asmo Halinen, a well-known startup activist. Asmo has a wide and versatile career in the digital industry since 1995. He possess a profound understanding of the  internet, its technologies and design, digitalization and digital media in general. He has been leading the creation of numerous internet content/media businesses both in Finland and abroad. Asmo also has a strong entrepreneur background through co-founding Apaja in 2001 and later its gaming spinoff company Apaja Online Entertainment. He has utilized my experience through many Board of Director positions and by coaching several early stage startups.

Mikael Seppälä, or “Mikki” is a multinational person with strong experience from a large variety of start-up companies, mainly in cleantech. He is a certified business angel in Finland. Being a professional leader who is easily approachable, he posesses excellent networking skills. His passion is to make the world a better place, be it clean water, limiting pollution or lowering waste.

Catarina Myllärniemi, a strategic communications specialist with 20 years of experience in various communications-related positions in companies such as Microsoft, PwC, Lindström and Keskisuomalainen Group. She now teaches in higher education and works as a freelance writer and journalist, in addition to coaching tennis.

New board member

Sanna Wester, a strategic leader with a strong marketing orientation. Her previous work includes several marketing executive positions in publicly listed companies; through this experience she has expertise in business strategy, marketing, branding and leadership. She currently holds multiple high-level executive and board positions, including MD at Marketing Agency Viestar, Chairman of the Finnish Advertising Council and Chairman of Admission Committee for Cross-Boarder Board Ready Women.
